This scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance and mentorship to help future leaders build brighter futures
Scholarship Eligibility
To be eligible for the Los Bomberos de L.A. County Community Scholarship, applicants must:
Be a high school senior or current college student.
Reside in Los Angeles County.
Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.
Demonstrate a commitment to community service and leadership.
Be able to attend a mentorship session with a member of Los Bomberos de L.A. County.
Application Requirements
To apply, please submit the following:
An official high school or college transcript.
A letter of recommendation (from a teacher, counselor, community leader or mentor).
A 250-word personal essay that addresses the following:
How your community service efforts have made a positive impact.
Your future educational and career goals.
How this scholarship will help you achieve your goals
and contribute to your community.
Scholarship Awards
We offer scholarships in varying amounts to support students in their educational journey. Award amounts will be determined based on a holistic review of each application.
